Starship Horizon
This is a grammar review boardgame for up to six players/teams aimed at B1 / B1+ level and based on a grammar syllabus.
Players have 35 seconds to get the correct answer – questions are either multiple choice or “Correct/Incorrect”. Player also get to award bonuses and penalties to each other throughout to keep things interesting.
At the moment it is teacher led – so you’ll need to display it in your browser or on your IWB and do all the mouse clicks for everyone.
Crossboard
This is an irregular verb “review” (there will be verbs in there they haven’t met before) game pitched at three levels, Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced, for two or three teams to practice Past Simple, Past Participle, or both forms.
Teams can choose any question, are given an infinitive and give the correct form to win the tile. The objective is to get to the other side of the board.
It is teacher led, so you’ll have display it in your browser and share your screen or display on IWB and then do all the mouse clicks for them.
