If you’ve been teaching a while, you might well remember englishdroid – Simon Barnes’ satirical take on the tefl world.  I remember it fondly from my first tefl job and then by the time I’d got to my second, it had disappeared.  Alex Case posted on the disappearance which drew comment from Simon Barnes, and the upshot of the whole thing is that it’s back!

I realise I’m a bit late with the news as the return of englishdroid happened in August 2010 and the site promptly won the Tefl.net Site of the Month Award for September 2010.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to view it, I recommend taking a look.  I remember “the Satanic Units” with particular fondness…..
